Updating and decapitating...(3/1/6)

Hello all, Benton here with the latest info on what Finally Dying is up to...

Well, quite a bit of good news has come in lately! Im going to be starting a new job on monday that is much more flexible (having weekends and holidays off) and pays nearly twice what I was making before. It is absolutely fabulous news, but in a way it kinda sucks. I'm leaving a job where nearly everyone there was very cool. I met a few people there, including a few that are staff members for this site, that were entirely too cool for their own good. Those select 5 or so individuals I will definately be in constant contact with and am going to follow up on all their individual projects,and/or"goings on". True, it's kinda sad, but I'm absolutely doing backflips over the job I'm getting into, its in the "I.T." field, which is exactly what I want to do most. All of that sentiment aside, Finally Dying has 2 songs that are pretty much completely written, they are "Martyr 2006" and possibly "Malice" (not positive on the title yet). Me and Jeff are in constant contact and plan on recording this new material pretty soon. Rather than "update" the songs, we're going to hold back for a few days on the recording (well, maybe) and make sure it's perfect. If it's perfect from the get-go, or whenever it is perfect, we'll get it on this site first and foremost. We're still waiting on a couple things to complete Austin's set and allow us to play and record with live drums. Once that happens, we'll (mostly Austin) go through the previous released songs, and change the beats up quite a bit as we'll have much more control, and thus creativiy. It's really quite a task doing what me and Jeff are doing right now, being confined to what his program has to offer, and being forced to do our best. That's really why I'm 1000% positive that these songs are definately in a "demo" status no matter how many times we make adjustments. The "final" versions will be after Austin's had an opportunity to greatly improve the song structure on everything. The main point here is the songs will be soooo much better when we get a chance to fully arrange everything.
