Cooking With the Ninja: Margaritas & Other Beverages

The Cooking section is no more, but that doesn't mean Cooking With the Ninja is gone! Yup, The_ninja_style's cult like "Cooking With the Ninja" is coming to the Daily Articles!
We start with her classic beverage recipes!
What you need:
2 cups crushed ice
1/2 cup strawberry puree (frozen can or fresh strawberries, pureed)
1 cup tequila
2 limes, juiced
Splash Triple Sec
Splash simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves, then cooled
What you do:
Combined into a blender. I suggest using a different blender for your alcohol than your food. Sunbeam blenders run about $12 and work amazing well for drinks.
Puree until smooth, poor into frosted glasses
What you need:
9oz white tequila
4oz orange-flavored liqueur
4oz pear juice, plus more for the rim
2oz fresh lime juice
1 1/2 cups crushed ice
What you do:
Same as Strawberry Margarita
What you need:
Salt
1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur
1/4 cup Triple Sec
3/4 cup tequila
4oz seedless watermelon, small diced
1 Lime
What you do:
Pour salt in a shallow dish for dipping the rims of the glasses. Dip 4 martini glasses in
water and then dip the rims in salt. Place in the freezer to frost, about 30 minutes. In a martini shaker shake together the orange-liqueur, Triple Sec, and tequila. Remove glasses from the freezer. Fill the bottom of each glass with the diced watermelon and pour alcohol mixture over the top, dividing evenly among the glasses. Slice lime into wedges and squeeze into glasses. Serve immediately.
Perrier Sparkling Vanilla Water
What you need:
1 25oz bottle of chilled Perrier Sparkling Water
1 Lipton Vanilla Tea (black) bag
1 Vanilla Bean stick
Ice
Tea strainer
What you do:
Place tea bag in the strainer and hold over glass with ice
Pour water over the tea bag
Place vanilla stick in glass for garnish
Apple Cider:
What you need:
3-5 cinnamon sticks
1 red apple
1 gallon of apple cider
What you do:
1) Quater apples making sure to rid of seeds and place in bottom of crock pot
2) Pour in gallon of apple cider
3) Add cinnamon sticks
4) Turn crock pot on lowest setting
5) Cover for 15 minutes
6) Uncover, stir, serve
7) To make your house smell super good, leave uncovered crock pot on lowest setting with the cider.
Try adding pumpkin muffins for a great snack combination.
