Cooking With the Ninja: Crockpot Dishes

The cooking section has been dropped in favor of it going into our daily featured content! However, that doesn't mean the recipes are going anywhere, just the section that was never updated is gone!

As a result, we are archiving the recipes that were hosted here in the Daily Articles as time goes by! Most of them were provided by the_ninja_style.

Here, we go with Ninja's Crockpot recipes! ENJOY!


School House Chili:

WHAT YOU NEED:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
2 (15-ounce) cans kidney beans (for a spicy chili make one can HOT kidney beans)
1 bag Fritos corn chips
1 bag shredded taco cheese
1 container sour cream

WHAT YOU DO:
Brown ground beef in skillet then drain, put in crock pot.
Add in ontion, tomato sauce, pepper, chili powder, salt, pepper, oregano, and beans to crock pot, stir till mixed.
Place on Simmer over night or at least 6 hours.
Stir again before serving.

HOW TO SERVE:
Place hand full of Fritos in bottom of bowl
Add chili
Top with taco cheese and sour cream



Italian Beef

What you need:
3 1/2 to 4 pounds beef roast, sirloin tip or rump roast
6 ounces (1/2 jar) Italian Giardiniera, drained
6 ounces (1/2 jar) pepperoncini peppers
1 envelope Italian salad dressing
10 ounce can condensed beef broth
1 Package Italian Hoggie Rolls

What you do:
Place beef roast in a 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Combine Giardiniera, pepperoncini peppers, dry salad dressing mix, and condensed beef broth.
Add all mixture to crockpot. Cover and cook on LOW for 12 to 14 hours.
Break apart with fork.
Place on Roll.
