Start Watching Movies Online

RJ45

Okay, so you are the type of person who watches streaming videos. You don't go to the theater. You don't feel like spending time downloading the torrent. You just want to watch it online. Sure, YouTube and Google Video have movies, but they are kind of buried.

Should you continue a long hard search? What if someone else has done the hard part for you? That is what these websites specialize in.

Heck, sometimes you don't even need to go to these links. Several networks have decided to get with the times and start providing free full episodes themselves!

Movie Links/Embedded Content Sites:

Watch-Movies.net - One of the best out there. Great selection of movies ranging from today to the 1920s. Even has different resources for each movie, for the event in which the original source gets removed.

TV-Links - Probably the most well known resources out there. Has everything from new movies to TV show series to anything else that you can pretty much think of.

Home - This is a genre website dedicated to one type of movie... Slasher Films. Makes good use of YouTube playlists and customer players. Ranging from Friday the 13th to Nightmare on Elm Street to even Saw! According to the website owner, he is launching a Zombie-themed spin-off website soon! So keep on the lookout for that!

Watch The Simpsons Online - Another specific website dedicated to delivering you episodes from quite possibly the greatest animated series of all time... The Simpsons!

South Park Zone - South Park Episodes!

Family Guy Now - Family Guy episodes!

- Omega Tube gives you a little bit of everything. Had a good experience there overall!

Official Sites:

Of course, you don't have to feel like Judas Priest and feel like you have to start Breaking the Law. Why? Because the networks themselves are starting to provide episodes themselves!

Note: Some of these may charge a subscription fee and some of these may just have clips and not full episodes. A lot of them require that you install their special "player" (generally a browser extension).

NBC - NBC is one of the first networks to offer its TV shows online for free, but you must install its "player."

FOX on demand - Full FOX episodes such as Simpsons, House MD, COPS, etc. (You must install their "player.")

ABC - Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Lost, According to Jim, etc. (You must install their "player.")

The CW - One Tree Hill, America's Top Model, Gossip Girl, etc. (You must install their "player.")

CBS - Big Brother 9, CSI, etc. You DO NOT need to install a "player" when I had checked.

adult swim - Some fantastic Adult Swim cartoons such as Aqua Teen Hunger Force. You DO NOT need to install a "player" when I had checked.

Disney Channel - Hannah Montana, etc. A bit resource and ad intensive, but its free and you do not have install a player.

USA Network - Monk, Psych, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Starter Wife, and more! No "player installation" needed!

MTV Overdrive - Actually, for a channel that I am not really into, they have a decent video website here with the programs that you might be interested in and you don't have to install anything!

Fearnet - A free website dedicated to horror movies. They host free full length movies. Plus, if you have Comcast Digital Cable, then you have them on your Video On Demand! I love these guys.

Public Domain:

Okay, so maybe you are a 100% free kind of guy. You have free open source software, and even your music is completely free. Well, there is hope because there are plenty of movies that are in public domain (e.g. The original Night of the Living Dead).

Public Domain Movies - A good resource for finding public domain films.

Wikipedia - This is simply a list. You can use this to know which movies you can download or upload for free.

Internet Archive - Very well known archive of free movies.

Now you are at least off to a good start. There are hundreds of other websites out there, so always keep looking. If you have any personal suggestions, go ahead and give them!
