VerizonMath - Ah, geez...

Today, I am reviewing the blog, "VerizonMath."
Website/Blog: http://verizonmath.blogspot.com/
This was recommended to me by a co-worker, and I just couldn't believe my ears.
Now, my real job is working as a Technical Support Representative at a call center for a Cable ISP. So, I do call center work for a living. The guy that runs this blog and have the problem has stated for the record that he also has done call center work.
The basis of this blog is that he was quoted a rate of 0.002 of 1 cent for his rate repeatedly by representatives. Instead, he was charged 0.002 of a dollar. Now, one might say "Hey, the first idiot just quoted him the wrong rate!"
That's what I would think. It happens at my job all the time (and it can get pretty damn annoying). Obviously, if there is that much of a difference, they are probably not going to honor it. If I was at the company. I think a reasonable compromise would be to refund the guy his money and terminate the contract. Sometimes, it is best for everyone just to give up instead of falling on your sword like these idiots did.
You would have thought that something close to that would have happened. Right?
WRONG!
Instead, the representatives actually argues that...THEY'RE THE SAME THING!
2/1000 of one cent versus 2/10 of one cent. Kind of a big difference.
On behalf of WYLFWT.com...we wish the best of luck to George. I highgly recommend you read this entertaining blog and watch the video.
